St. Mary's Cathedral
The cathedral in Neoclassical style is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Chiclayo. Pope Leo XIV, then known as Robert Francis Prevost, was Bishop of Chiclayo from 2015 to 2023 and regularly celebrated mass in the cathedral.
